Women who are keeping their appointments and working on their Individual Development Goals can participate in any number of our enhancement programs. These programs are designed to supplement each woman's specific work on her own Individual Plan and help her move toward economic sustainability.

(1st & 3rd Monday from 12:45-2:15 pm) An opportunity for ongoing learning, support, and socialization. A time for women to share their stories, learn new ideas, support one another and be emotionally, physically, and spiritually renewed. This gives a woman the opportunity to work on wellness concepts.

Meeting every other month on a Friday or Saturday - A program of relevant topics chosen by our women presented by professionals. The purpose is to present information that will enhance women's knowledge, spirituality, and self-esteem and to provide connections between providers and the women served.

Women's Group meets on the last Friday or Saturday of the month - It is a safe place for our partners to build community and grow together. This group was initiated by our women who expressed a need to have a group to support, empower and learn from one another as well as have a place to be themselves. This group is inclusive and equitable, allowing all our partners to attend despite ethnic, language, or health barriers. We have activities that include attending parks or museums and also incorporate art, crafts, food, and games to help bridge the gaps.

Life Skills & Literacy - The Summer Life Skills program helps kids build peer relationships, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a safe and fun environment. Our Summer Literacy Program helps foster a love of reading and comprehension in collaboration with the Pikes Peak Library District. Children whose family member is attending her appointments and working her development plan may attend.

A program run through the Sisters of St. Francis at Mount St. Francis - Spiritual renewal through connecting deeply with God and with one another.

A year around program meeting every other month, JOI/KidZ Club helps kids develop leadership skills through service projects they design and execute.

We also provide the opportunity to participate in activities and events that may normally be inaccessible to financially vulnerable families!

Invites women to share their spiritual journey through scripture, prayer, ritual, and reflection. All programs encourage participants of various faith traditions to find the sacred in themselves and in all of life. WOMAN'S STORY RETREAT A mini-retreat held annually at Mount St. Francis for women. It is designed as a time for women to come together and through sharing and reflecting, experience connectedness and spiritual renewal.
